The great thing about being a writer is that I get to travel anywhere and everywhere I want to go. I even get to go back in time. And all of that while still in the comfort of my own home, surrounded by dozens upon dozens upon dozens of books about the art and craft of writing, medieval times, secret societies, and so many books about Texas History that I need a new book shelf!
Texas History has always fascinated me. I was extremely fortunate to work in a historic building that was just blocks from the Alamo. In excavations done in and around this historic site where I worked, they discovered swords, spurs, and even an old Spanish saddle. How amazing is that?
Surrounded by this amazing history, and working in a building that was connected to other buildings with underground tunnels and basements, I was inspired to write about the Texas Revolution, which has led to the Texas Legacy series. Where would you like to go? Time or place?
